SHARING HOPE…through access to world-class pediatric palliative care.

The Pediatric Palliative Care Coalition of Connecticut is a  state-based coalition founded by a group of interdisciplinary clinicians  and volunteers with a passion for assuring that every child and family in need of palliative care services has access to those resources. Established in 2023, the PPCC-CT has quickly grown through a partnership with the Pediatric Palliative Care Coalition of Pennsylvania (PPCC-PA) and a generous grant from the Kanarek Family Foundation.

Our aim is to advance palliative care services for Connecticut’s children (prenatal to 21 years) and their families through advocacy, access to quality care, expanded resources and education by fostering collaborative partnerships among healthcare professionals, state entities and the community.

Vision

We envision a society where every child (prenatal to 21 years) in Connecticut who is facing a complex, serious illness, or potentially life-limiting diagnosis receives compassionate, family-centered, holistic palliative and hospice care that supports their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being throughout all phases and transitions in care.
